Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Consulting firm. Law firm. Tasks: Arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, etc.. Coordinate the activities of the HR department in order to ensure they meet the organization's goals . Open and distribute mail and other materials. Plan and control budget and expenditures. Establish and implement policies and procedures. Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars and conferences. Schedule and confirm appointments. Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages. Answer electronic enquiries. Compile data, statistics and other information. Order office supplies and maintain inventory. Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas. Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems. Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents. Perform data entry. Provide customer service. Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field. Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions. Maintain and manage digital database. Supervise office and volunteer staff. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
