Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Tasks: Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate. Enter client information in databases. Help pharmacists. Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products. Maintain prescription records . Prepare medications for clients. Set up and dismantle equipment. Apply and adjust casts, splints and bandages. Clean and maintain equipment. Compound, package and label pharmaceutical products. Clean and dress wounds. Take body or limb measurements of patients. Help patients complete menus. Maintain inventory of equipment. Advise patients on loss of depth perception. Order supplies and equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Schedule and confirm appointments. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
