Ready to Make an impact?The Sobeys In-House Studio Photographer provides photography for in-house creative studio, employee engagement portraiture, corporate/communications photography, in-store photography and event photography. The Studio Photographer will also provide image manipulation and support the daily asset management workflow as required. As an active Individual Contributor, they will commit to developing a positive and productive work environment while being able to manage multiple tasks as needed.Here's where you'll be focusing:Tasks and Responsibilities Include: Photography: Capture compelling and high-quality images that align with the company's brands/banners and visual identities. Photography for flyer, corporate events, store openings and employee portraits. Provide photography based on the in-house creative studio concepts and local travel for in-store photography as needed. This also includes collaborating with creative designers and other photographer to identify new ways of working and new idea generation. Digital Image Manipulation: Includes image colour correction, conversion; clipping paths and photocomposition via Photoshop. Digital Asset Management: Management of Marketing DAM database including asset aggregation, asset tagging and meta descriptions of all banner and vendor inputs; includes supporting technology, vendor management and user training responsibilities. Manage Ad Hoc Projects: As a member of the Integrated Marketing team; the Photographer will be asked on occasion to support projects beyond ongoing campaigns and events. These ad hoc requests will need to be managed along with other regular weekly tasks. Studio: Open, close and prepare studio prior to shoots as needed to ensure all systems are fully operational and running efficiently. Process: Working with Lead Photographer and Creative Manager, continuously work to improve studio workflows and processes as needed. What you have to offer:Minimum 4-6 years photography experience within an in-house or design studio environment. Proficient in using industry-standard photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, and lighting setups.Undergraduate degree or three-year advanced college diploma in a related field (ex: photography, visual design, videography, graphic arts, marketing).Corporate event and portrait portfolio demonstrating professional acumen an asset.At Sobeys we require our teammates to have the ability to adhere to a hybrid work model that requires your presence at one of our office locations at least three days per week.
