Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Determine hardware and software requirements to achieve optimal server performance. Develop website architecture. Document technical requirements to ensure that products, processes and solutions meet business requirements. Write, modify and test website related code. Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management and service delivery. Source, select and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout and flow of the Website. Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software and hardware. Create and optimize content for Website using a variety of graphics, database, animation and other software. Develop policies, procedures and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches. Research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software products. Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle. Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products and information systems.
