We crunch the data, consult with our partners and stakeholders, and present our findings to mitigate the risks of today and around the corner and help keep our daily operations running smoothly for our customers.Job Description :The Audit Division Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) team is responsible for the development and execution of the QAIP annual plan as well as evolving the QAIP strategy to align with regulatory expectations, industry best practices and the Institute of Internal Auditors requirements. The Senior Manager, QAIP leads and develops a team of audit professionals and subject matter experts, as well as oversees, plans and executes audit quality assurance reviews and/or projects of varying complexity and may act as a subject matter expert in own area of expertise. Provides guidance, leadership, coaching and development to ensure operational results and professional/personal development objectives are achieved for the overall group.Oversees and leads a significant and/or highly complex, and diverse Quality Assurance team for an area of significant risk, complexity or scopeStrategic advisor to leadership team on the management of the portfolio and financials, with deep industry, external/internal, enterprise knowledge, recognizing and anticipating emerging trends and; identifying operational efficiencies and opportunities with other business management/enterprise areasFacilitates key strategic audit discussions and provides thought leadership to executivesHighly specialized expert with in-depth knowledge to manage audits for multiple, significant complex businesses, functional areas and/or global business linesSets operational team direction and collaborates with others to execute on common goalsFocuses on long term planning for functional areaAbility to process and handle confidential information with discretionMay participates on or leads various projects/ division initiatives as neededDemonstrates TD leadership Core ValuesRecognizes team members' contributionsStrong presentation skills when delivering training and presentation at the division level, industry conferences, workshops, etc.Job Requirements :Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, accounting designations, or equivalent education required ( CIA/CPA preferred, additional designations e.g. CFA, FRM, CRMA an asset )10+ years of relevant experience in performing audits or quality assurance reviews of the following areas Retail Banking Operations, Corporate Functions, and ICFR Testing with a large Financial Institution preferredAdvanced knowledge of audit standards, procedures, laws, rules and regulationsAdvanced knowledge of risk management environment, standards, regulations and mitigationKnowledge of current and emerging trendsSkilled in managing budgets and resource allocation.Skilled in mentoring, coaching and performance managementSkilled in using computer applications including MS OfficeAdvanced ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities
