Job Overview:
Vanier Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our team. As an independent pharmacy located in the heart of residential Vanier, we prioritize high-quality service and building strong relationships with our clients.
Duties:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide medication counseling to patients on proper usage and potential side effects
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication histories
- Monitor drug interactions and advise on appropriate interventions
- Oversee medication inventory and ordering processes
- Participate in health promotion initiatives within the community
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
- Active pharmacist license in [State/Province]
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
- Experience in acute care, pediatrics, or hospital pharmacy settings preferred
- Proficiency in medication administration and patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
