Community of Use of Schools Outreach Assistant (1 position/1.00FTE) <p> Salary Range: $1038.09/week -$1190.80/week<p> Hours listed are current, but may be subject to change*<p>8:30 am 4:30 pmThe Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board (DPCDSB) is a dynamic Catholic school board committed to the delivery of quality educational programs and services from a Catholic faith perspective. DPCDSB, one of Ontarios largest school boards in Ontario, is comprised of approximately 73,000 students enrolled in 151 schools (125 elementary and 26 secondary) throughout the diverse GTA municipalities of Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon, and Orangeville. DPCDSB employs approximately 8,000 faculty and staff to deliver and support its Catholic educational mission. Position Summary <p>Reporting to the Boards Permits Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for assisting in the creation and execution of the Dufferin-Peel Community Use of Schools Outreach Plan. The incumbent will liaise with Permits staff, Plant Supervisory staff, School Administrators, municipalities, community agencies and user groups to balance the use of Board resources against access to facilities by local community groups, day care providers and reciprocal agreement users while seeking innovative ways to support local communities through maximizing the use of Dufferin-Peel Facilities<p>Basic Qualifications: The basic qualifications for this position include: University /College Degree/Diploma in Business<p> Two (2) years relevant experience<p> Proficient in the use of Board provided computer-based technologies to create, manipulate, store and retrieve information, and communicate with others<p> Experience working with Municipalities & Community agencies, regarding permits <p> Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act <p> Knowledge of Board's Community Use of Schools PoliciesAnd Evidence from previous work history of satisfactory attendance and punctuality <p>Visit www.dpcdsb.org for more detailsTo be considered for this position, please forward your resume and a covering letter by June 27, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. quoting File: Community of Use of Schools Outreach Assistant detailing your experience and qualifications, by e-mail, to: DPCareers@dpcdsb.org (Word format).
