In this vital role, you will be the face of our clinic, providing a warm and welcoming environment for our patients while ensuring the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Experience with Telus PS Suite is highly valued and essential to effectively manage patient information and office administration. A strong additional asset would be having an interest in broadening one's responsibilities or possessing prior experience in phlebotomy.
Responsibilities:
* Greet patients and process registrations with warmth and professionalism
* Efficiently manage high volumes of incoming and outgoing calls, faxes, and emails
* Schedule, manage, and update patient appointments, ensuring a seamless experience
* Process payments, private and OHIP
* Expertly handle Telus PS Suite EMR to manage electronic medical records and accomplish work efficiently and accurately
* Maintain a clean, accurate, and organized front desk
* Direct patients to the appropriate examination rooms
* Assist in the taking blood samples, set up for biopsies, and excisions
* Assist the team in keeping facilities tidy, organized, and clean
* Understand and ensure patient confidentiality and discretion at all times
Qualifications:
* Associate degree or higher in medical/healthcare administration or related fields or 1-2 years of experience as a medical office administant
* Familiarity with the medical industry and health services
* Strong computer skills, including extensive experience with Telus PS Suite
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on empathy and understanding
* Ability to work independently and within a team, demonstrating adaptability and collaboration
* Capacity to multi-task and thrive in a busy, dynamic environment
* Problem-solving and time management skills to efficiently address challenges
* Personable with strong communication skills, fostering positive relationships with patients and colleagues
* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
