As a vital member of the MAZDIS team, you will lead R&D initiatives focused on prototyping and refining mechatronic systems. Your primary objective will be to enhance the performance and functionality of our prototypes through innovative approaches. Your expertise in hardware and software diagnostics will be pivotal in identifying areas for improvement and implementing creative solutions.
Furthermore, your proficiency in network administration will be crucial as you collaborate with our R&D team to seamlessly integrate our mechatronics prototypes into various operational environments. *Key Responsibilities:*
1. Define and refine product requirements, initially focusing on vision technology for distance measurement.
2. Conceptualize, design, and evaluate mechanical and electrical systems, integrating vision sensors for distance measurement.
3. Construct prototypes, program industrial controls, and design electronic circuits for vision technology integration.
4. Develop and maintain standards for system maintenance and operation, including calibration procedures for vision sensors.
5. Investigate and troubleshoot electrical or electronic failures during R&D phases, with a focus on vision sensor functionality.
6. Prepare technical reports and documentation, documenting progress in vision technology development.
7. Supervise and collaborate with technicians and engineers, coordinating efforts for vision technology integration.
8. Implement machine learning algorithms for object detection, expanding vision technology capabilities.
9. Integrate object detection algorithms into vision technology systems, enabling detection of specific objects.
10. Test and evaluate object detection functionality in prototype systems, iterating design as needed.
11. Provide on-site support for new products during development, ensuring proper implementation of vision technology.
*Desired Skills:*
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
2. Proficiency in programming languages like C/C++, Python, or MATLAB.
3. Experience with microcontroller programming and control board design.
4. Knowledge of vision technology, including cameras and image processing.
5. Understanding of machine learning algorithms for object detection.
6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
7. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
8. Experience in prototyping, testing, and evaluation.
9. Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations.
10. Leadership capabilities for project coordination and supervision.

*Minimum Education and Work Experience Requirements:*
· *Education & Experience*: Bachelor?s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with +5 years of experience, or Bachelor?s degree with 3+ years in related roles.
