*QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:*
* At least 2 years experience working as a legal assistant in a law office/notary office specializing in real estate transactions is required.
* Must have experience with ordering land title documents and title searches on myLTSA and strata documents from strata management companies
* Must have knowledge and experience with reviewing purchase and sale contracts and title searches and preparing standard legal documents for purchase, sale and mortgage real estate transactions.
* Proficient use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe, myLTSA, conveyancing software
* Ability to multi-task and work under time-sensitive environments with minimal supervision
* Must be able to speak fluent English, ability to speak Cantonese/Mandarin an asset
*JOB DESCRIPTION:*
* Prepare correspondence and documents for real estate sale, purchase and mortgage transactions using conveyance software and myLTSA
* Correspond with clients, notary/law offices, banks and other offices via email and phone to give quotes for services, schedule appointments, follow-up on file matters and document requests
* Diarize bring forward matters and follow-up in a timely manner
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
* Overtime pay
