Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Personal protective equipment (PPE) training. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Equipment and machinery experience: Screeds. Circular saws. Concrete saws. Chippers. Jackhammers. Drills. Trampers (Jumping Jack). Compactor. Sledgehammer. Hand tools. Construction specialization: Driveways. Industrial, commercial and institutional. Residential. Sidewalks and curbs. Poured concrete.
