*What you?re looking for...* We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented *Property Administrator *to join our team. If you are passionate about bookkeeping, have a knack for administration, and thrive in a property management setting, this role is perfect for you.
*What?s the role...*
*Bookkeeping ? Property Management*
* Record daily financial transactions and complete the posting process.
* Ensure transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledger, customer ledger, and vendor ledger.
* Conduct partial checks of the posting process.
* Accurately complete government-issued forms such as HST remittance, property tax rebates, and MPAC forms.
* Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements.
* Reconcile and balance all accounts from the general ledger to the sub-ledger.
* Process accounts receivable/payable.
* Prepare cheques, payments, and bank deposits.
* Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
* Assist with budget preparation.
* Respond to accountant and owner inquiries promptly.
* Post year-end entries from accountants.
* Perform and post common area reconciliations at year-end.
*Administrative Duties:*
* Maintain office files in a neat and orderly manner.
* Create correspondence on behalf of Property Managers to tenants, owners, etc.
* Assist in lease, lease renewal, lease amendment, and assignment documents.
* Perform other related duties as required.
*Qualifications:*
* Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping.
* Experience in property management (commercial, residential, or condo) is preferred.
*Skills:*
* Team-oriented and task-driven.
* Self-motivated and capable of working with limited supervision.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
* Experience with Yardi Voyager is an asset.

* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong problem-solving abilities.
