INTERNAL/EXTERNAL<p>C ompetition #25-19 <p>EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY<p>NISGAA LANGUAGE & CULTURE DISTRICT HELPING TEACHER <p>Nisgaa Elementary Secondary School<p>Nisgaa School District No. 92 invites applications for a Nisgaa Language & Culture District Helping Teacher. Reporting directly to the Director of Indigenous Education/Early Learning , Tanya Azak. This is a full-time position starting September 1, 2024.<p>Nisgaa School District is located in the majestic and breathtakingly beautiful Nass valley in northwestern British Columbia. The district encompasses the traditional treaty territory of the Nisgaa Nation along the Nass River. People from around the world are drawn to Nisgaa lands to experience diverse outdoor explorations, including the volcano, Lava Bed Park, natural hot springs, fishing, hiking, hunting, kayaking/canoeing, biking, sledding, etc., as well as to encounter Nisgaa culture.<p>The Nisgaa School District is currently partnered with the MITs Learning Lab, working with Peter Senge and Mette Boll on building compassionate learning systems.
