Design and construct single-phase service for single or multimeter installations. Splice, join and connect wires. Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits. Troubleshoot and isolate faults. Install surface mount and/or overhead cables. Instruct apprentices. Supervise other workers. Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems and structures including swimming pools and hot tubs. Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Electrician Trade Certification. Working at heights training. Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) clearance Certificate. Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Construction Electrician Red Seal Certificate. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Equipment and machinery experience: Conventional electrical devices. Hand tools. Motorboats. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Own vehicle. Vehicle supplied by employer. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment.
