Reports to:
General Manager
Requirements
* Directly oversee service standards & service training for all FOH team member
* Support in the inventory and management of Abrielle's female led wines by the glass program & coastal wines by the bottle program.
* Support in the ordering & training of the Abrielle wine program.
* Handle any guest concerns or comments, including follow-up and recovery
* Employee awareness and managing - support in the management of internal concerns and disciplinary requirements as required
* Ensure all opens and closes are completed according to established checklists
* Complete nightly reports, manager checklists, and ensure constant communication is upheld with the General Manager and/or Chef de Cuisine
* Assist in the leadership the front of house team while keeping a strong flow of communication between the service team and the kitchen
* Keen awareness of the status of the floor
* Address cleanliness issues, repairs and maintenance as needed
* Delegate checklist items and manage labour based on business volume
Qualifications
* Minimum of 4 years management/sommelier / supervisory experience
* Excellent leadership skills; ability to communicate effectively, respectfully and lead others in a team-based environment
* Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment while remaining professional and calm
* Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask or perform other FOH roles when required
* Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
* Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends as business requires
* Smart Serve Certified
