As an Immigration Manager of LMIA, you will play a pivotal role in providing legal counsel and guidance on both domestic and international legal matters to ensure the company's compliance with global and local regulations. You will work closely with various departments, contribute to business transactions on both domestic and international fronts, and support the legal aspects of the organization's operations.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Provide expert legal advice on both domestic and international legal issues affecting the company.
* Analyze and interpret laws and regulations from multiple jurisdictions.
* Draft, review, and negotiate both domestic and international contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
* Ensure contractual compliance and mitigate legal risks.
* Monitor and ensure compliance with both domestic and international laws, regulations, and industry standards.
* Develop and implement compliance programs for operations in different jurisdictions.
* Handle and resolve both domestic and international legal disputes through negotiation, mediation, or litigation.
* Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary.
* Provide legal support for the company's domestic and international expansion initiatives.
* Assess legal implications and risks associated with entering new markets.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures for both domestic and international operations.
* Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations affecting the business.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executives, to provide legal guidance on strategic initiatives.
* Work closely with other departments to address legal issues affecting various business functions.
* Conduct training sessions to enhance awareness of legal issues within the organization, both domestically and internationally.
* Keep the legal team and relevant stakeholders informed about emerging legal trends.
Qualifications:
* Education: Law degree from a recognized institution. Bar qualification in the relevant jurisdiction.
* Experience: Minimum 3- 5 years of experience international legal practice. Proven track record of handling complex legal matters in both contexts.
* Skills: Strong knowledge of laws and regulations, both domestically and internationally. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced global environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
