*Position Summary:*
You are a highly seasoned logistics management professional that is well versed in warehouse and inventory management, and in running day to day logistical operations of high-volume production facilities. Your strong logistics or warehouse management background has educated you on best in class shipping, receiving and inventory management processes, and you?re comfortable working with and managing large teams, and communicating with all layers of the organization.
You will work closely with the production team and Director of Operations to manage and optimize the operations of Colourific?s logistics department.

* Keeping work area clean and free of debris
* Prioritizing safety in your actions and workspace condition
* Advising management when aware of contraventions of Health and Safety
*Job Specific Responsibilities*:
* Monitor and manage the performance of inbound & outbound of materials of goods in the facility.
* Manage logistics KPI?s and provide daily feedback to the management team
* Manage and supervise logistics team members using a lean manufacturing + Kaizen framework
* Play a key role in the hiring, training, and performance management of logistics team members with weekly accountability for training and performance management
* Active participation in daily and weekly production meetings
* Leverage continuous improvement experience towards production and logistics processes
* Oversee warehouse layout and Inventory Management System to ensure the accurate tracking of materials throughout the facility
* Ensure documentation is done in a timely & accurate manner; i.e.. BOL, PO, WO.
* Communicate with customers and vendors to resolve discrepancies or issues
* Coordinate with Production Supervisors to ensure efficient turnaround time of material in house
* Coordinate with maintenance team all preventative maintenance required for forklifts
* Coordinate with drivers the continuous forklift usage best practices and enforce proper and safe operation of equipment on daily basis
* Maintain JHSC requirements and comply with health, safety, and operational standards within the facility
*Requirements:*
* 10+ years of logistics or supply chain management experience
* 5+ years of logistics or supply chain management leadership experience
* Capability and appetite to design and build a world class logistics and shipping function
* SCMP designation is considered an asset
* KPI metrics knowledge and experience
* Strong experience in Lean material management and inventory management: Knaban, Gemba & waste management
* Forklift Licence (asset) - Company will provide training

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
