Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental or medical office setting and possess excellent organizational and clerical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate personnel
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- File, organize, and maintain paper and electronic documents
- Computerize patient information accurately
- Assist with proofreading documents for accuracy
- Perform clerical duties such as typing, photocopying, and faxing
- Utilize Google Suite for various office tasks.
Job description:
As a Receptionist, you are the face of the company, providing a warm and professional welcome to all our patients. You will play a crucial role in managing the front desk, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and dental staff. If you have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for helping others, we want to hear from you!
Key responsibilities:
-Greet and welcome patients with a friendly and professional demeanour.
-Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic's calendar.
-Maintain patient records and manage patient intake forms.
-Assist with billing and insurance processing.
-Provide information about our services and address patient inquiries.
-Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times.
Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office management is a plus.
-Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Proficiency and experience with dental management software is a bonus, but not required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
A friendly and professional attitude with a passion for providing exceptional patient care
- Prior experience in a dental or medical
- Proficient in organizational tasks to manage front desk responsibilities efficiently
- Ability to type accurately and quickly
- Familiarity with computerized systems for data entry
- Strong proofreading skills to ensure accuracy of documents
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 ? 25 per week
