*The Position*
*Mechanical Assembler*
We are seeking a candidate who has the following competencies;

*This position is on the day shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday.*
*We are looking for someone who enjoys to work on building/putting together large objects and is mechanically inclined. *
*Responsibilities of this position include:*
* Read, interpret, and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications and other written instructions to accurately assemble equipment and products
* Utilize handheld tools such as handheld wrenches, sockets, air guns
* Follow and help maintain assembly procedure specifications
* Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities
* Lift raw materials, final products and items packed for shipment. Manually lift up to 50lbs
* Work with other departments within the shop to ensure the products are made correctly and on time
* Use overhead cranes to assemble larger components
*Qualifications*
* Must be mechanically inclined and Hydraulics knowledge an asset
* Basic mechanic tools required
* Ability to lift heavy materials
* Self starter, ambitious, eager to learn
* Experience with operating machines, power tools and overhead cranes
* Previous experience in a manufacturing setting considered an asset
* Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
