We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Construction Project Coordinator to support our construction projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination of resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and a keen eye for detail to facilitate smooth project execution.
*Responsibilities:*
*Project Planning and Documentation:*
* Assist in developing project plans, including goals, timelines, and resource allocation.
* Maintain project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and change orders.
* Track project progress and report updates to project managers and stakeholders
*Scheduling and Resource Management:*
* Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to schedule project activities.
* Monitor resource availability and allocation to ensure efficient use of resources.
* Assist in procuring materials and equipment necessary for project execution.
*Communication and Coordination:*
* Serve as a liaison between project teams, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate communication and resolve issues.
* Organize and facilitate project meetings, including preparing agendas and taking meeting minutes.
* Communicate project updates and milestones to stakeholders and ensure timely responses to inquiries.
*Quality Control and Compliance:*
* Assist in implementing quality control measures to ensure projects meet specifications and standards.
* Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct site inspections and address any issues or concerns related to quality and safety.
*Administrative Support:*
* Manage project documentation, including filing, distribution, and archiving of project records.
* Prepare reports, presentations, and other project-related documents as required.
* Support project managers with administrative tasks to facilitate project progress.
*Requirements:*
* Bachelor?s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
* Proven experience in construction project coordination or related administrative roles.
* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Knowledge of construction processes, terminology, and best practices.
* Experience with construction project management software and tools.
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
*Working Conditions:*
* This position typically operates in an office environment with occasional visits to construction sites.
* Some travel may be required depending on project locations.
