Load, unload and transport construction materials. Measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting. Perform pre-operational inspection. Clean and lubricate cranes. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Load and off-load machines. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail. Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat. Safety glasses/goggles. Gloves. Ear plugs. Safety vest. Personal suitability: Dependability. Flexibility. Team player. Hardworking. Experience: Experience an asset. Support for newcomers and refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees. Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.). Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) . Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Does not require Canadian work experience. Support for Indigenous people: Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations .
