Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Noisy. Odours. Dusty. Work setting: Chemical processing plant. Tasks: Monitor instruments on one or more chemical formulation units. Clean and maintain work space. Measure, weigh and load chemical ingredients following formulation cards. Record production information. Start up, shut down and troubleshoot equipment. Take samples. Perform routine chemical and physical tests of products. Adjust processing machines and equipment. Monitor reaction processes and transfers of products in conformance with safety procedures. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Fast-paced environment. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Team player.
