Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Hotel, motel, resort. Tasks: Order and receive liquor and other supplies and maintain inventories. Inspect dining rooms and other food and beverage serving areas. Answer customers' questions regarding menu items and preparation methods. Greet customers. Receive customers' reservations and assign tables. Receive payments from customers. Establish work schedules. Co-ordinate work activities with other departments.
