Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Underground. Noisy. Dusty. Cold/refrigerated. Hot. Work setting: Various locations. Construction site. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Perform pre-operational inspection. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Perform routine maintenance work. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Support for newcomers and refugees: Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.). Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.). Does not require Canadian work experience. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations . Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers . Supports for visible minorities: Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.- LocationPrince George, BC
