Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll. Calculate fixed assets and depreciation. Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. Maintain general ledgers and financial statements. Post journal entries. Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports. Prepare tax returns. Prepare trial balance of books. Reconcile accounts. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Outlook. MS PowerPoint. MS Word. MS Office. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Work under pressure. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Support for newcomers and refugees: Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) . Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Support for Veterans: Recruits Veterans and other candidates with military experience through targeted hiring initiatives (for example: job fairs, outreach programs etc.) .
