Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects. Assist in preparing design, drawings and specifications. Assist in the design of moulds, tools, dies, jigs and fixtures. Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components and materials. Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings and specifications. Develop policies, standards and guidelines. Follow emergency and safety procedures. Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD. Autodesk Inventor. MS Excel. MS Word. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Attention to detail. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Hard hat. Equipment. Safety glasses/goggles. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent written communication. Organized. Team player.
