Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Commercial building. Shopping centre or mall. Tasks: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse. Empty trash cans and other waste containers. Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings. Perform safety and security checks. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures. Work with minimal supervision. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Support for newcomers and refugees: Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) . Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees . Support for Indigenous people: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers . Supports for visible minorities: Offers mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees. Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.- LocationVermilion, AB
