Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Tasks: Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations. Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies. Utilize hand and power tools. Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms. Perform restorative work. Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed. Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Erect and dismantle scaffolds and other platforms. Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging. Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed. Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment. Clean building exterior, tanks, chimneys and industrial equipment. Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces. Assemble, erect and install hoisting and rigging equipment. Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools. Construct and repair wood or metal supports and structures. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Working at heights training. First Aid Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
