Conduct economic or commercial surveys to identify potential markets for products or services. Develop communication strategies. Direct the marketing strategies of establishments. Direct the team on crucial information they should gather and research. Evaluate communication strategies and programs. Evaluate the marketing strategies used by establishments. Implement communication strategies and programs. Review written material, such as reports, briefs, speeches, presentations and press releases. Supervise staff. Train staff. Develop promotional materials. Hire, train, direct and motivate staff. Manage contracts. Plan and control budget and expenditures. Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that develop and implement communication strategies and information programs.
