Education: College/CEGEP. Computer programming, specific applications. Instrumentation technology/technician. Heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration maintenance technology/technician. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Office. Construction site. Tasks: Repair and maintain machinery. Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects. Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components and materials. Prepare standards and schedules. Supervise, monitor and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects. Test machines and equipment. Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites. Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems. Type of service and repair: Electronic process instrumentation. Specialized audio or video systems: Computer graphic imagery system. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Outlook.
