Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer support and a keen interest in safety products. This role involves handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and providing product information to ensure a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat. Provide accurate information about our products, services, and order statuses.
* Process customer orders efficiently and accurately using our order management system.
* Maintain a thorough understanding of our glove and safety construction product lines. Assist customers in selecting the right products for their needs.
* Address and resolve customer complaints and issues.
* Assist the sales team with customer inquiries, order placements, and product information.
* Keep detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback. Use this information to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Work closely with other customer service representatives and departments to provide a seamless customer experience.
* Maintain the sales area in a neat and orderly condition.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, preferably in a related industry such as safety products, construction, or manufacturing.
* High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional education or training in customer service is a plus.
Skills:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in using customer service software and order management systems.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Familiarity with gloves and safety construction products is highly desirable.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
Additional pay:
* Overtime pay
Flexible language requirement:
* French not required
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday
* Weekends as needed
Experience:
* Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
