Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Trucking company. Tasks: Evaluate daily operations . Plan and organize daily operations. Supervise staff. Arrange for shipping documentation and the tracking and tracing of goods in transit. Ensure transport compliance with regulations. Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods. Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods. Organize and maintain inventory. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Supervision: 11-15 people. Security and safety: Basic security clearance. Criminal record check. Drug test.
