Grande Prairie Public School Division employs PCS staff on behalf of jurisdictions in the region. Peace Collaborative Services is seeking a psychologist to join their multi-disciplinary school team. As the ideal candidate, you are energetic and enjoy working with children from Preschool through Grade 12. You will work collaboratively to integrate student programming with other disciplines such as Speech-Language Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Occupational Therapy.<p>BEING PART OF OUR DYNAMIC TEAM, YOU WILL <p>HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE PROVIDE INDIVIDUAL CHILD SERVICES Develop intervention programs, conduct periodic re-assessment/evaluation of individual programs and recommend adjustments as needed<p> Provide direct treatment intervention to specific children<p> Participate in case conferences, parent interviews, medical consultations, and clinic programmingTAKE A LEADERSHIP ROLE - OVERSEE PROGRAM SERVICES Develop, implement, and evaluate a quality assurance program<p> Provide input into annual operating and capital equipment budgets<p> Provide input into the development and implementation of group programs<p> Attend staff, department and other meetings as requiredQUALIFICATIONS: Registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists is required<p> Provisional psychologists will be considered, supervision is available<p> Valid drivers license<p> Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Intervention Record Check<p> Pediatric experience is an asset<p> You work well independently and can show initiative<p> You are self-motivated and an enthusiastic learner with excellent problem-solving skillsWE OFFER: Competitive salary ($69,820 - $105,759 based on experience)<p> Full benefits including life, disability, dental, extended healthcare and health spending account<p> Work the school year with school holidays<p> Payment of professional dues<p> Professional liability insuranceYour application should include a cover letter, a complete resume, and three references with current contact information.
