*What does your day at GIP Interpaving look like? *
* Trenching. Sub-grade excavating. Stripping. Sloping and banking. Material handling. Land clearing. Haul road maintenance.
* Excavation. Backfilling. Slope grooming. Stock piling. Maintain operation and job logs.
* Conduct pre-operation checks and documentation as required.
* Operate a two-way radio where and when necessary.
* Refuel, clean, and lubricate equipment as prescribed.
* Secure special attachments to equipment.
* Able to work independently and follow instructions on requirements of the job.
* Follow all health and safety instructions and standards as communicated. Use and maintain all safety equipment as prescribed.

* Valid Ontario Drivers License is an asset.
* Must be able to legally work in Canada for your application to be accepted.
* Minimum 1-year Heavy Equipment Operator experience is considered an asset.
* Able to work outdoors.
* Able to conduct daily routine equipment checks etc.
* Outcome-focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyze and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our business.
* Ability to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives.
* Superb communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.
* Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges.
