The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Saskatchewan math curriculum and a proven track record in math instruction and assessment. This role involves supporting administrators, school teams, and individual teachers to achieve their learning goals and targets, particularly in middle years and/or high school settings.<p>Key Responsibilities: <p>? Provide expert guidance on the Saskatchewan math curriculum to ensure effective implementation and alignment with educational standards.<p>? Collaborate with school administrators, teams, and individual teachers to develop and enhance math instruction and assessment strategies.<p>? Support the implementation of the MathUp resource and respond to diverse student needs and learning styles.<p>? Assist in the design and delivery of professional development sessions focused on math instruction and curriculum best practices.<p>? Analyze student performance data to inform instructional decisions and improve student outcomes.<p>? Offer ongoing support and mentorship to educators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.<p>? Stay updated with current trends and research in math education to provide cutting-edge support and resources.<p>? Contribute to the development and review of curriculum materials, ensuring they are culturally relevant, engaging, and effective.<p>Qualifications: <p><p> Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.<p> Extensive knowledge of the Saskatchewan math curriculum.<p> Minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching mathematics at the middle years and/or high school level.<p> Proven expertise in math instruction and assessment.<p> Strong passion for mathematics and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.<p> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.<p> Demonstrated ability to support and inspire educators in their professional development.<p><p>Interviews will be conducted upon application.
