Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse. Empty trash cans and other waste containers. Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings. Perform safety and security checks. Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants. Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures. Work with minimal supervision. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Wash windows, walls and ceilings. Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture. Pick up debris and empty trash containers. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Handle and report lost and found items. Dust furniture. Clean and disinfect elevators. Provide basic information on facilities. Clean changing rooms and showers. Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors. Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding.
