*Duties:*
* Perform preventative and general maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment in industrial and marine environments.
* Perform inspection on equipment and provide detailed reports. Submit reports and communicate information clearly to convey work performed.
* Provide and assist root cause analysis and prevention.
* Install, trouble shoot and repair a wide range electrical and mechanical equipment independently, with other technicians or with client aided assistance.
* Be skilled in Installation, troubleshooting and repair of different types of equipment in fast paced manufacturing, industrial and marine environments.
* Experience in troubleshooting: Motors, generators, control systems, variable frequency drives and soft starts, programmable logic controllers, engine alarm systems, and fire alarm systems.
* Test, commission, program, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, retrofit and install medium and low voltage equipment.
* Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards.
* Demonstrate problem-solving skills and Continuous learning mindset as well as participating in technical training.
* Review, interpret and understand technical specifications and drawings.
* Must be able to adapt to changing work tasks & environment.
* Read and interpret PLC logic, work on PLC components and troubleshoot.
* Participate in training when required.
* Valid drivers? licence.
*Experience:*
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician in a similar role.
* Mechanical Experience would be considered an asset.
* Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety practices related to electrical work.
* Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour
