Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Confer with clients to identify requirements. Design and integrate website related code. Determine hardware and software requirements to achieve optimal server performance. Document technical requirements to ensure that products, processes and solutions meet business requirements. Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to support system implementation. Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software and hardware. Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls. Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality. Execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests.
