Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Light cleaning duties. Maintain work records and logs. Monitor personnel workloads and locations. Organize warehouse and work areas. Perform general office duties. Provide customer service. Advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems. Assist with maintenance of communications equipment. Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders. Follow-up on issues with work orders. Keep track of shipments. Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations. Maintain vehicle operator work records. Record mileage, fuel use, repairs and other expenses. Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Work under pressure. Personal suitability: Client focus. Organized. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Support for Indigenous people: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers . Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations . Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .
