Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Ensure adherence to safety regulations. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks). Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles). Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Documentation knowledge: Driver logbook. Type of trucking and equipment: Concrete mixing. Transportation/travel experience: Local. Specialization or experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge. Area of specialization: Truck driving. Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check. Medical exam. Transportation/travel information: Drive manual transmission vehicle. Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Sitting. Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone. Hard hat. Steel-toed safety boots. Safety vest. Gloves. Personal suitability: Flexibility. Organized. Reliability. Team player. Patience.
