The Saskatchewan Conservation and Development Association Inc. (SCDA) is seeking the services of an Executive Director who will lead the organization and implement its strategic plan. Due to the incumbent's retirement, the SCDA is currently recruiting for an Executive Director. The Board of Directors is committed to a smooth transition and desires to have a candidate in place by December 1, 2024, to overlap with the incumbent and ensure an orderly handover of responsibilities. The SCDA Board of Directors consists of 6 members from across the province. The SCDA provides membership services to 100 Conservation and Development Area Authorities and 12 Watershed Associations in Saskatchewan. The SCDA also works to develop new Conservation and Development Areas and revive dormant Area Authorities. The SCDA also works with our membership to bring their agricultural water management into compliance with the Water Security Agency’s 2015 Agricultural Water Management Strategy. The staff complement at the SCDA Office in Saskatoon is the Executive Director, Executive Administrator, Office Administrator, Project Manager (Engineer), Program Coordinator (Engineer), Supervisor of Engineering Services (Engineer), Contracted QP, and Contracted IT services. If interested, please submit your resume and three current references by cicking APPLY TO THIS POSITION below.
