Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Personal and social adjustment and health (substance abuse, gambling, behaviour disorders). Socio-economic needs or conditions (housing, nutrition, unemployment, financial assistance). Crime prevention. Services for the homeless. Bereavement issues. Work setting: Urban area. Tasks: Administrative and office activities. Appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services. Provide suicide and crisis intervention. Resolve conflict situations. Supervision: 11-15 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office. Area of work experience: Community service organization. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Child welfare check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Own vehicle. Travel expenses paid by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Work under pressure.
