_The Registered Pharmacy Technician position is responsible for ensuring accuracy of technical prescriptions after the therapeutic accuracy is checked by a pharmacist, ensuring accuracy of data-entry into Kroll as well as educating and training patients and caregivers on common devices._
_Additionally, you will need to work very closely with team members to ensure we deliver world class service to complement our best in class pharmacy service operations._
*Responsibilities*
* Handle a weekly average of medication bags.
* Compound non-sterile and sterile preparations.
* Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care and medication management.
* Educate and train care givers and staff on common devices.
* Utilize KROLL SOFTWARE daily for data entry.
* Ensure timely completion of blister packs.
* Perform accurate bin checks.
* Accurately perform Clozaril monitoring, ensuring proper documentation for every Clozaril dispensed.
* Maintain high billing accuracy for OHIP + billing, private/public insurance, no substitution, correct LU code, EAP, and documented cash approvals.
*Qualification*
* *Experience:* 1+ years of Kroll experience, experience using PacVision is an asset
* *Certification:* *Registration and good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists for at least 1 year.*
* *Insurance:* Maintain Personal Professional Liability Insurance coverage.
* *Skills:* Strong computer skills, problem-solving skills, flexibility, resourcefulness, and effective decision-making.
* *Communication:* Strong communication skills and ability to forge partnerships with team members.
*Ability to commute/relocate:*
Scarborough, ON M1B 5N6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
