<p>THE RENFREW COUNTY DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD <p>requires the following<p>HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR LOCATION: <p> Board Administration Office, Pembroke HOURS PER WEEK: <p> 35 hours per week (overtime as required), 12 months per year SUMMARY: The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Human Resources Department administratively in a broad range of human resources activities including recruitment, labour relations, job evaluations, performance evaluations, staffing, training and development, human resource software, and legislative requirements. In addition this role will provide focused support in wellness, attendance and disability management. RATE OF PAY: <p> $61,297 - $72,599.80 per annum <p> Skills, Qualifications and Experience: <p> Minimum 2 year post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related discipline. <p> Minimum 2 years of related experience in a senior administrative role or other relevant support position(s) <p> Experience with Human Resources functions would be considered an asset <p> Familiarity with Board policies, procedures, applicable legislations and contracts would be considered an asset <p> Proven ability to identify sensitive situations and recognize the impact of potential solutions <p> Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to suit situation and audience <p> Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of the organization <p> Ability to use discretion, tact and diplomacy in dealing with confidential issues <p> Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills with particular attention to detail <p> Excellent computer skills including experience and demonstrated proficiency with data management systems, Google App Suite and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint) <p> Duties and Responsibilities: <p> Assist with the implementation, development and maintenance of a variety of administrative and human resources functions <p> Provide focused support to disability, attendance and wellness <p> Responsible for filtering, qualifying and directing contacts and inquiries <p> Responsible for resolving issues where possible while maintaining positive relations <p> Assist with the research, development and implementation of special projects <p> Prepare general correspondence and provide client service to all stakeholders <p> Ensure department operational effectiveness (e.g. mail, filing, data entry) <p> Other duties as assigned <p>Hiring will follow the requirements outlined in RCDSB Administrative Procedures.<p>Please submit your application at www.applytoeducation.com to be considered for this posting. <p>Only candidates selected for interviews will be contacted.<p>All other applicants are thanked for their interest.<p>All offers of employment are conditional upon receipt of a current<p>vulnerable sector screening criminal background check acceptable to the Board.<p>Please advise Human Resources (hrdept@rcdsb.on.ca) prior to the closing date if yo
