Education: Bachelor's degree. Work site environment: United States. Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Hospital or home for the aged. Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Tasks: Assist health care practitioners during examinations or treatments . Monitor patients and advise physician of any changes in patients' condition. Address and document symptoms and changes in patients' conditions. Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions. Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families. Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician. Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment. Provide consultative services regarding issues relevant to nursing profession and nursing practice. Provide nursing care. Treat diseases, injuries and deformities. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certificate. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate. CPR Certificate. Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work. Type of treatment experience: Pain management. Area of specialization: Emergency room. Intensive care. Obstetrics.
