Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Beauty shop or aesthetic service. Day spa. Spa. Tasks: Body care/treatments. Permanent hair removal. Provide general information to customers on beauty products. Advise on beauty products suited to customers' colouring and skin type. Laser hair removal. Provide hair weaving treatments for customers. Spider vein treatments. Apply temporary designs to customer's skin, using electric needles and chemical dyes such as Mendhi (henna). Facials. Repair and mask aesthetic defects. Maintain and build own clientele. Provide product demonstrations. Schedule and confirm appointments. Sell establishments products. Skin care. Provide customer service. Perform receptionist duties. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Esthetician certification. Area of work experience: Cosmetician/cosmetologist. Esthetician. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Personal suitability: Accurate. Client focus.
