Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Tourism. Management. Associations and non profit organizations. Budgetary responsibility: $500,001 - $1,500,000. Tasks: Develop public relations and promotional programs. Evaluate daily operations . Implement and advertise promotional programs. Implement new strategies and programs touching public relations. Plan and organize daily operations. Recruit staff. Supervise staff. Develop and administer policies and programs. Prepare funding and grant applications and proposals. Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses. Consult with boards of directors, senior managers and government officials. Human resource planning and development. Develop action plans . Supervision: 16-20 people. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?. Do you have the above-indicated required certifications?. What is the highest level of study you have completed?. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Health benefits: Dental plan.
