Principal Solution Architect manages the Client Profitability Pipeline for Wholesale Banking business lines globally. CAPS team members help design and implement the most appropriate data storage, data movement and data integration solutions to meet immediate project requirements while supporting the long term direction of the enterprise. This is done by supporting the following overall objectives: ? Develop and promote strategies, roadmaps, architectural guidelines, standards and best practices for the evolving enterprise information management practice ? Data governance, standards, criteria and practices ? Work with business users to obtain data requirements and analyze source systems data. ? Analysis of source systems data (structured and un-structured) and business requirements ? Ensure compliance to Enterprise Data Office guidelines, best practices, Enterprise Security guidelines, policies ? Design and develop conceptual, logical and physical data models for the operational and analytical databases ? Work closely with the technical and application architects, and developers to implement the solution architecture ? Communicate physical database designs to, and work with, database administrator to implement databases ? Document data flows, identify appropriate data sources, entities, relationships and redundancies ? Manage data integrity and data quality. ? Maintain technical & business metadata.. Functional Competencies: ? Relational and dimensional data modeling and database design. ? Strong knowledge & experience of data architectural approaches, patterns and emerging technologies ? Deep knowledge of financial reporting systems & Client P&L reporting across wholesale banking products ? Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data modeling ? Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Strong Analytical skills. ? Experience creating architecture and strategy artifacts ? Experience of XML, JSON, CSV files ingestion + Streaming Data ? Strong Domain Knowledge in financial Services and enterprise functions ? Knowledge of database administration, database performance tuning, source & target data structures, ETL processes & products ? Excellent project management and team leadership skills ? Experience working in Agile environment ?
