<span>A career as a Senior Legal Advisor in the Legal Documentation - Financial Markets team at National Bank, is to act as a specialist on the legal aspects related to the various trading activities and operations of the Bank and its subsidiaries. In addition, you will provide professional support and ensure the development of the legal expertise as well as the protection of the Bank?s interests and rights.</span><p><strong><span>Your role:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span>Drafting and negotiating various transactional financial contracts, such as the ISDA Master Agreement (including VM CSA and IM CSA), the GMRA and the GMSLA,</span></li> <li><span>Provide legal opinions related to the various spheres of law</span></li> <li><span>Provide recommendations to ensure the development and the protection of the Bank and its subsidiaries worldwide</span></li> <li><span>Provide legal advice to the Bank?s Financial Markets and Corporate Capital Management (Loans and structured business desks) across a range of debt over-the-counter and centrally cleared, capital market & structured products, covered bonds and securitization vehicles.</span></li> <li><span>Showcase your expertise in the context of special or large-scale projects having an impact on the activities of the Bank and its subsidiaries</span></li> <li><span>Identify legal situations affecting financial contracts and advise stakeholders accordingly</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span>Your team: </span></strong></p> <p><span>As part of the Capital Markets and Treasury Risk Management sector, our team is comprised of 6 lawyers and a paralegal. Our team?s mission is to offer sound legal support to and for the Bank?s national and international desks, namely in Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, New York, Dublin, London and Hong Kong. Mainly, we negotiate and manage the main transactional financial contracts with the Bank?s clients internationally. </span></p> <p><span>We want to contribute to your quality of life by offering you as much flexibility as possible in your work.
