Education: College/CEGEP. Work site environment: Noisy. At heights. Confined spaces. Outdoors. All weather conditions. Tasks: Adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures. Inspect structural and mechanical systems of aircraft and ensure that these systems meet Transport Canada and company standards of performance and safety. Repair and overhaul to ensure adherence to standards and procedures. Troubleshoot aircraft mechanical systems. Install or modify aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel and pneumatic systems. Maintain detailed repair, inspection and certification records and reports. Perform and document routine maintenance. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : AME «M» Licence - Aircraft. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office. Security and safety: Airport security clearance. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Hand-eye co-ordination. Personal suitability: Accurate. Dependability. Excellent oral communication. Responsibilities
Tasks
- Adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures
- Inspect structural and mechanical systems of aircraft and ensure that these systems meet Transport Canada and company standards of performance and safety
